I am so excited to announce my very first giveaway on my blog! Giveaway runs Oct. 19th-Oct. 26th. Winner will be drawn randomly and announced Oct. 27th.
A little background:
So back in March I went to a coupon class at a local church with my friend Erin. You can read more in detail about it here. I had already been doing the "dinky" kind of couponing at Wal-Mart, you know where you buy a box of cereal at regular price and use your coupon, maybe saving $10 total on my $100 bill. I was very eager to learn more about it after hearing of these "super" couponers cutting their grocery bills in half and even paying nothing for some items! um excuse me?... sign me up! I just needed someone to break it down for me, I was a little overwhelmed. So I went.
Let me just tell you, even after 1 week of grocery shopping we LITERALLY cut our bill in HALF! going from roughly $100 at Wal-Mart to around $50 at Harris Teeter, for the whole week. I was amazed. It takes some practice and strategy, but totally worth it. She also teaches you how to do the drugstores, and boy do they have some deals!! Just an example; I got a Gillette ProGlide Fusion Razor for Adam with 2 cartridges included, for 98 cents. Yes you read that right and no I'm not making that up.
The mastermind and queen herself Su Soutter over at The Intentional Home, is offering a free class to one winner on Thursday November 4th from 7-9 at Raleigh Vineyard on Litchford Road. You can read more information about the specific class here. I plan to attend the class as well for a refresher so I can get even better at it! Best part is Su is an adoptive mama herself and about to get her little boy from Ethiopia. So feel free to bring a friend with you if you win, they'll just have to pay the $20 to enter, and all the proceeds are going to her adoption right now.
